Jatbula Trail, S6: Sweetwater Pool to Leliyn

Starting from Sweetwater Pool campsite, this walk takes you to Edith Falls Road via the Jatbula Trail (Section 6), optionally visiting Edith Falls along the way. This is the last of six sections. On your last day, you'll have the option to enjoy the multiple falls and rock pools of Edith Falls. It's a great way to end your journey if you have the time. You can also stay on the main route and just visit the viewpoint at the edge of the escarpment, which provides you with an excellent view of the waterfall and the scenery. Edith Falls is usually very busy, so book your place beforehand to make sure you get to enjoy this site. Please treat any water you find before using it. Let us begin by acknowledging the Jawoyn people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

	From the Jatbula Trail Start heading along Jatbula Trail (a walking track). Find the Sweetwater Camp at the start. Find the Sweetwater Pool at the start. Sweetwater Pool A magnificent waterhole that is known for its still waters. Enjoy the spectacular views day and night and embrace the tranquility of the place as you cool off in the waters of Edith River.
	After 820 m cross the ford.
	From the Jatbula Trail continue straight, to head along Jatbula Trail. After another 1.2 km pass the waterfall (40 m on your left).
	From the Jatbula Trail turn right, to head along Jatbula Trail.
	The starting point of an alternate route. An alternate route featuring multiple waterfalls (including Edith Falls), rockpools and viewpoints. Highly recommended. To take the alternate route turn left here. Details below. After another 1.6 km (at the intersection of Leliyn Trail & Jatbula Trail) veer right, to head along Leliyn Trail. After another 300 m pass a seat (on your left).
	After another 15 m (from the Leliyn Trail) continue straight, to head along Leliyn Trail. After another 195 m pass a seat (on your right). After another 150 m pass the sign (8 m on your left). About 35 m past the end is a car park.
	The alternate route finishes here. Continue straight to rejoin the main route at the 4.3 km waypoint. Details below. Continue another 0 m to find at the intersection of Edith Falls Road & Leliyn Trail at the end.

	At the intersection of Leliyn Trail & Jatbula Trail Start heading along Leliyn Trail (a walking track). After 115 m come to the viewpoint (about 50 m ahead).
	From the Leliyn Trail turn left, to head along Leliyn Trail. After another 65 m pass the emergency call device (on your right). After another 130 m pass the waterfall (45 m on your left). After another 25 m cross the ford (about 50 m long) Then find the "Edith Falls Upper Pool" (15 m on your left). Edith Falls Upper Pool
	After another 30 m (at the intersection of Leliyn Trail & Edith River) continue straight, to head along Leliyn Trail. After another 7 m pass the waterfall (20 m on your right). After another 15 m pass the waterfall (40 m on your left). After another 60 m find the "Edith Falls Middle Pool" (about 80 m ahead). Edith Falls Middle Pool After another 345 m come to the "Bemang Lookout" (about 40 m ahead).
	From the Leliyn Trail turn left, to head along Leliyn Trail. After another 940 m cross the bridge (about 9 m long) After another 50 m come to the viewpoint (25 m on your right).
	Continue straight. After another 40 m find the "Edith Falls Plunge Pool" (20 m on your right). Edith Falls Plunge Pool After another 145 m pass the toilet (20 m on your left). After another 20 m pass the fast-food restaurant (about 25 m ahead).
	Turn right. After another 20 m (from the Edith Falls Road) veer right, to head along Edith Falls Road (a vehicle track). After another 90 m pass the car park (25 m on your left).
	Continue another 20 m to find at the intersection of Edith Falls Road & Leliyn Trail at the end. At the end of this alternate route, rejoin the main route.
