Lanita Rail Trail

Starting from the end of Lanita Road, Ferny Hills, this track takes you to Lanita Court and back via the singular Lanita Rail Trail. The said trail is a short but delightful route that winds through gravel/paved roads with beautiful eucalypt trees around them. The rather undulating nature of the tracks makes it excellent for cycling, particularly with children. Along the way, you may spot some wallabies as well, which may put a smile on the kids' faces. There are also several trails branching off from the main rail trail that are worth exploring if time is not an issue. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Turn on to Samford Road, 22 then drive for 7 km Turn left and drive for another 50 m Turn right and drive for another 15 m Turn left and drive for another 80 m Turn right onto Conavalla Street and drive for another 290 m Turn right onto Archdale Road and drive for another 100 m Turn slight left onto Lanita Road and drive for another 2.4 km

Getting started
From the end of Lanita Road, head up the narrow dirt track towards the white/beige fenceline. Follow the said track as you pass by a building (No:247) to your left. 220 metres in, keep left at the 3-way intersection to continue along Lanita Rail Trail.....

After another 210 m (from the Lanita Rail Trail) continue straight, to head along Lanita Rail Trail. After another 35 m (at the intersection of Lanita Rail Trail & East Break) continue straight, to head along Lanita Rail Trail. After another 490 m (at the intersection of Lanita Rail Trail & Lachinvar Break) continue straight, to head along Lanita Rail Trail.
	After another 65 m (at the intersection of Lanita Rail Trail & Mango Tree South) continue straight, to head along Lanita Rail Trail.
	After another 610 m (at the intersection of Lanita Rail Trail & Little Break) continue straight, to head along Lanita Rail Trail. After another 7 m (from the Lanita Rail Trail) continue straight, to head along Lanita Rail Trail. After another 45 m come to a bollard. Turn around here and retrace the main route for 1.5 km to get back to the start.
