As Dave Noble has commented in the past, even tho it is a a list of fairly prominent mountains, it also misses some of the best mountains in the state (Franklands, POW's, North & South Geryon + many, many fine peaks in the SW).
The Connoisseurs Peak Bagging list is a much better selection of fine Tasmanian Peaks & Mountains(biased opinion here).

I almost think they should have capped it at 1000m instead of 1100m, that way you'd get Greystone, Diamond Peak, at least one in the Franks and a lot of crap. Can't say I aim to climb peaks because they're an Abel, I will if they're on the PB list or close by anyway though.
As previously mentioned the Connoiseurs list is great.

Who's the second Marco? I think it's only one.

stepbystep wrote:'Tramontane' ?? Something like that was only identified a cpl of years ago. All the details are in the books http://www.theabels.dreamhosters.com/ they're a good read with very valuable information.
Can't remember how many I've 'bagged' 50 or 60 maybe....but it's a fun thing for those of us with OCD
