Close enough, your go. The fog you can see was rolling over into Pine Valley from the eastern side, did this the whole morning while we were up there. Very frosty too, black ice on the way round to the Geryon from the north.
Doesn't it look great when it does that. I have a photo of PB from Osmiridium camp, doing the same thing, perfect day but the peak is covered in a wave of fog / cloud. Would have look despairing at High camp or the summit but everywhere else was blue sky sunny day.
Not yet eggs, maybe in a few years after this years Mt Seal trip, then Eldons, then POW's, then Spires...Maybe 2014? I know Az has been there tho & I presume this shot is from Sculptured Mountain as I know they didn't get much further along.
Yup. Its from somewhere near the summit of Sculptured Mountain. Looking at what we called Stonehenge - the circle of rocks down below was really quite impressive. I can only imagine that Stonehenge peak must have something similar?
Unfortunately time constraints and laziness prevent us from going further. It was quite nice once up on the range. But we opted for a day trip after realising we'd not allowed enough time to complete our intended trip.
I had a photo of white monolith range with which to compare, and you knew he had walked there? Crumbs - a fair percentage of answers have been based on knowing who walked where [say looking up trip notes in wildtiger..] - or in Mark's case - it used to be written into his signature
Not that I've been there but this looks like maybe Lake Youl on the Ben Lomond Plateau? Probably not, but I'll throw a quess in the ring to get things rolling...
